Jesus Is On His Throne

Our loving Jesus sits up high on His throne; but, never is there a moment that He does not think about you and me, friend. Because this world’s condition is so much worse, I am sure He is eager to make these last few months of this earth’s history go by very quickly. He wants to get us out of this madness as soon as possible. He is such a loving Savior and is by our side every day.

He is in control and is moving this world closer and closer to its end. I am certain He is very disenchanted because there is so much wickedness taking place. People that are controlled by Satan are doing such horrible things to their fellowman. You wonder how people can be so mean. We are definitely living in the very end of time.

We can see more and more the vast difference between the two classes of people that are now living on this earth. They are either following Jesus or Satan. Every person on this earth will either surrender their lives to Jesus or to Satan, and that must happen before Jesus comes in the clouds of glory. Everyone has the freedom to choose which side of the fence they want to be on, Satan’s side or Jesus’ side.

I am sure you have had the fun of watching a soccer game, football game or basketball game until the very end.  It was not until the end of the game that the winner was determined.  The trophy was not given to the winner until the game was completely over.

So, it will be when Jesus comes in the clouds of glory.  The gift or reward of eternal life will not be given until the end of this world or at His second coming.   “So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”  Matthew 13:49, 50

Every person is living their life in the way that they choose, and it has always been that way.  Those that lived in the past decided before they went to their grave if they wanted to be with Jesus, forever.  And, it is that way for all of us that are alive today.  We each have the freedom of choice—to be with Jesus forever or not to.

We are living in the “judgment hour”  “Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.”  Revelation 14:7

At the coming of Jesus Christ those that have surrendered their lives to Him will lift off this earth to meet Him in the clouds, and those that have not made that choice will be consumed with the brightness of His coming.  “And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming.”  II Thessalonians 2:8

Jesus will give His reward (eternal life or eternal death) to everyone at His coming. “And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.”   Revelation 22:12

There is a war going on that we cannot see. It is a war between Satan and Jesus. It started before this world was created. It started in heaven. Satan and his angels were thrown out of heaven, and they came to this earth that Jesus had just finished creating. The battle between Satan and Jesus is now being fought on this earth, daily. The war between “good and evil”, we can see with our own eyes.

“And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, And prevailed not; neither was their place found any more in heaven. And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.” Revelation 12:7-9

The war between Satan and Jesus is becoming fiercer. Jesus is working feverishly to bring people to Him, and Satan is working feverishly to bring people to him. Jesus loves everyone and wants all to be in His kingdom, and Satan hates everyone and wants all to burn in the lake of fire with him. “Eternal life or eternal death” is the choice everyone will have to make, and everyone right this minute is choosing to be in the kingdom of God or be cast into the lake of fire at the end of this world. The times that we are living in are as serious as a heart attack; We all need to wake-up, quickly, because Jesus is coming very soon, and many are going to say, “Oh, Jesus is here, and I am not ready”.

We will never be able to mentally take the days ahead without being deep in God’s word with much prayer. The spiritual strength that we must have in order to cope with all the evil that is taking place, now, and will only increase in the days ahead, comes from reading God’s word and praying, fervently.

I want to share with you a few “conditional” Bible texts. These are texts that we must obey or suffer the consequence of disobedience. We all have to get right with the Lord, and do what He says; otherwise, we will not be with Him forever.

“Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on him, If ye continue in my word, tHard-Back-Biblehen are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31-32

IF” we continue in His word then are we His disciples, and we will know the truth; the opposite is, of course, “IF” we do not continue in His word, then we are not His disciples, and we will not know the truth, and who is the truth, “Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6

“If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.” John 15:10

IF” we keep His commandments, we will abide in His love; the opposite is, of course, “IF” we do not keep His commandments, we do not abide in His love. Jesus keeps the Ten Commandments and abides in His Father’s love. Don’t we want to abide in the love of Jesus and the love of our heavenly Father?

“Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.” Revelation 22:14

We will have the right to the tree of life and may enter in through the gates into the city (New Jerusalem) “IF” we “DO” God’s commandments which means to obey His commandments; the opposite is, of course, “IF” we “DO NOT” his commandments, then we will not have access to the tree of life and will not be able to enter into the city through the gates.

Can we all see the reason this world is in the turmoil that it is in is because of disobedience? This world would not be in the dilemma that it is in “IF”everyone kept the Ten Commandments. Satan is working so hard to keep people from keeping God’s Ten Commandments. People are trying to find every excuse they can for not obeying the Lord, and it will cost them in the end–Big Time!

“But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.” James 1:22 We are deceiving ourselves, friend, if we do not obey our heavenly Father. From Genesis to Revelation God stresses obedience.

Ten Commandments

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Thou shalt not kill.

Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Thou shalt not steal.

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.” Exodus 20:3-17

You may want to take a few minutes if you have not already done so, and read the Bible study: What about Hell?
