Our Heavenly Father Loves Us
We are loved by a God that is so compassionate and tender-hearted. Nowadays it is hard to believe that anyone could care so much about every person on this earth.
“The Lord hath appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved thee with an everlasting love; therefore with loving kindness have I drawn thee.” Jeremiah 31:3
“He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love. In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Therein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.” I John 4:8, 9,10
“Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.” I John 3:1
Our Kind heavenly Father every minute of the day whispers to us through the Holy Spirit. He has the power to make us so happy if we would surrender our lives to Him. His still small voice speaks encouraging words to our minds if we would take the time to listen.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
“And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him.” I John 4:16
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” Romans 8:38, 39
Nothing on the face of this earth can take us out of His loving arms. He holds us so tight because we are so precious to Him. With Him is where we want to be, always. We each must make that choice to either walk with Him and make Him Lord of our lives or not. God gives us all freedom of choice. We can choose to not be in His loving arms. It will make Him sad if we make that choice. He has the power to keep us safe and secure in His arms; but if we wish not to be in His arms, than He has no choice but to let us go our own way. But, if we make that choice, daily, to walk with Jesus, nothing can take us our of His loving arms.
“Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.” John 15:13
“Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name.” Psalm 91:14
“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8
LOVE OTHER’S AND LOVE GOD
“We love him, because he first loved us.” I John 4:19
“…Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind: this is the first and great commandment, and the second is like unto it, thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” Matthew 22:37-40
“This is my commandment, that ye love one another, as I have loved you.” John 15:12
We do not want to be in God’s Kingdom without our friends and family members. Jesus loves us all, and if we love Him, we will love everyone on this earth and want them to be with our Lord, forever. Hopefully, we can help those around us each day to see that this world has nothing to offer. We care about those that we come in contact with, and we want to point them to our loving Savior who can offer them so much more. It brings us joy to do that.
“Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God and knoweth God.” I John 4:7
“Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at anytime. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.” I John 4:11, 12
If we love Jesus and our fellowmen, we will keep the Ten Commandments. The Ten Commandments are found in Exodus 20:3-17. Take the time to read them because they are for our protection. The first four of the Ten Commandments have to do with our love and devotion towards God and the last six of the Ten Commandments have to with our love and respect for our fellowmen. What a great world this would be if everyone kept the Ten Commandments.
“If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not see?” I John 4:20
“By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.” John 13:35
“My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.” I John 3:18
“For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.” I John 5:3
“If ye love me, keep my commandments.” John 14:15
“By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandements.” I John 5:2
