The Holy Spirit will give us the power to live a Godly life. There is no way in the world that you and I can make ourselves a better person. There are ways about us that we do not like and would like to change. We perhaps see someone that is such a wonderful Christian, and we wish we could be like that person. Sometimes we are so hard on ourselves because we know that we do not measure up in the way God would like us to be.
The Holy Spirit has the power to make the necessary changes in you, dear reader. Put your trust in Him!
“If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?” Luke 11:13
“The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.” John 3:8

Take one day at a time. We never will change over night. Remember, friend, that you have a Savior that loves you and is for you. Everything He does is good, honest and true. He sincerely loves all of us. He is working every second of the day with each of us. His aim is to have those that love Him with Him for all eternity.
Slowly, He is changing us as we can mentally handle it. Believe that He can and will make you, dear friend, ready to meet Him in the clouds when He comes. Ask Him to help you to be willing to change and to become more and more like Him.
