The Lord’s strength is what keeps me going each day. Without the Lord’s strength holding me up and keeping me focused on Him, I would not be a strong believer. His strength gives me the ability to do those things that are pleasing in His sight.
“I will love thee, O Lord, my strength. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.” Psalms 18:1, 2

I know that I am weak without the Lord’s strength in me. I know that I need His strength to stand up for the truth of the Gospel. I cannot on my own tell others about my friend Jesus without Him giving me the strength to do it.
I enjoy reading the Bible but the Lord has to give me the strength to put it to practice in my life. His strength is what helps me to make the necessary changes in my life. I cannot make myself ready for His soon coming. But, I do know He can give me the strength to be ready to meet Him in the clouds of glory.
“Seek the Lord and his strength, seek his face continually.” I Chronicles 16:11
