“This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.” II Timothy 3:1-5
When is all this insanity going to end? When are we going to be called-up and taken out of this world? We are getting so sick and tired of all the loony people. Every day we have to watch the heartless, immoral conduct of the demon controlled people and listen to their polluted mouths.
When are you coming, Lord? When are we going to be with you and not have to put up with all this wretchedness? The number of those that love you seems to be getting smaller and smaller. It seems everywhere we go, we run into such unchristlike people.
It is so demanding on the nerves and mind to put up with this world. It is the grace and power of you, Jesus, living in us that gives us the capacity to handle this warped world. We need you Lord to hold us up and keep us strong. And to think that it is going to get worse is mind-boggling.
Friend, our only hope is staying so close to Jesus. If you have not made that choice to surrender your life to Jesus Christ, do it now. Humble yourself before Him in prayer asking Him to dwell within you and to be your Lord and Savior. Let Him know that you want to be with Him forever. Ask Him to forgive all your sins, and He will.
When the world gets crazier, those that are waiting for the Lord’s coming will be at peace and of sound mind. They will have such a close relationship with Him. Their faith and love for Him will be steadfast and true. They will be hiding safely under our Lord’s wings, and His angels will be all around them.
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust. Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence. He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler. Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day; Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday. A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee. Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked. Because thou hast made the Lord, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation; There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest thou dash thy foot against a stone. Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: the young lion and the dragon shalt thou trample under feet. Because he hath set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he hath known my name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him. With long life will I satisfy him, and shew him my salvation.” Psalm 91:1-16
