He Is Coming Soon!

You are such a blessing to all of us, heavenly Father.  We cannot comprehend the love that you have for us.  We thank you for giving us the pleasure of basking in your love throughout all eternity.

All through eternity we will have the honor of sitting at your feet looking up into your delightful face while you help us to be knowledgeable of the things that we just cannot seem to gasp this side of heaven.  Such things as, why you left heaven with its splendor and all the angels to come down to this dark world to save us.

You came down here to live among us sinful people and took such mental and physical abuse.  You came to show us the love of the Father.  You came to show us that love for you, our heavenly Father and our fellowmen is what genuine happiness is all about.  Oh, how blind we are.  We cannot see that this is the problem with this world.  We all are so unloving.  We all are so selfish and self-centered.  Please, forgive us.

You knew before you came to this earth that being here with us would not be easy because you are omniscient (all knowing).   Yet, you still came and shed your blood for us.  “without shedding of blood is no remission (forgiveness).” Hebrews 9:22  May you wash us all with that cleansing blood, today.  May you help us to see ourselves as you see us and truly repent.

Friend, had you been the only person on the face of this earth our heavenly Father still would have sent His Son to shed His blood for you.  Not because you are worthy; but, because He doesn’t want to be in the World Made New without you.  There will come a day when He will do away with this world and create a New Heaven and Earth, and He wants you to be there to enjoy that New World with Him.

May He supply all your needs, today.  May the Holy Spirit comfort you and bring you into a better understanding of the ways of our heavenly Father.  Our Father knows everything about each of us.  Right this minute He knows the number of hairs that we have on our head.  Hard to believe that there is someone that watches over us so closely that every second of the day He knows the number of hairs on our head.  We do not identify with that kind of love.  No one in this world cares about us like our heavenly Father does.  No one is more concerned in helping us to get ready for the glorious event that is coming upon this earth.  The second coming of the Lord will be a spectacular event that we do not want to miss out on.  We don’t want to be left behind.   When our Father, Jesus and the angels come, we want to say with the redeemed,  “…Lo, this is our God; we have waited for him, and he will save us: this is the Lord; we have waited for him, we will be glad and rejoice in his salvation.”  Isaiah 25:9  We just cannot make the mistake of being caught up with this world and all the trinkets that it has to offer and not take the time, daily, to get our lives right with the Lord so that when He comes, we can lift off from this damaged world.  We will weep bitterly if we have made the mistake of putting this world first in our lives.  We must make that choice, daily, to spend time in God’s word learning all that we can in helping to make ourselves ready to meet the Lord in the clouds of glory.  The Holy Spirit will help us every step of the way.

Our best friend, Jesus, is preparing mansions for us and the angels are preparing crowns for us.  We do not want another to occupy that beautiful mansion, and we do not want Jesus to place our crown on another’s head.  Is there something in this world that you value more than that mansion; more than that crown; more than sitting on the bank of the River of Life with Jesus?  Is there something that you are hanging on to that is keeping you from surrendering your life to Jesus?   What is it that you possess and value so much that you are willing to give up your eternal life for?  What sin are you hanging on to that is keeping you from coming to Jesus?  All that He wants to do for you is to give you more than this world.  All that He wants to do for you is to place your crown on your head and bring you through the front door of your mansion.  He came and took your place on the cross so you can have the joy of living in a world that far surpasses this world.  How can your bank account, your house, your yacht, your job, your friends or your family members top being with the One who created you and loves you beyond your wildest dreams?

God created you special, friend.  There is not another one like you on the face of this earth.  Because you are unique and special, all of heaven wants you to be in the World Made New.  You are much needed there.  We all want the opportunity of visiting with you.  We all would enjoy it very much if you lived right in our neighborhood.  We will even get together with you and help you build your house.  Did you know that we will have two houses?  We will have a house in the New Jerusalem, and we will have a house in the World Made New; one in the city and one in the country.

You will be greatly missed if you choose to stay behind when Jesus comes to take us up and out of this world.  You must make that choice right this minute to be in the World Made New.  You have friends that will help you to be there.  You have our heavenly Father, Jesus, Holy Spirit and the Holy Angel’s right by your side every second of the day.  They will give you the strength and the power that you need to let go of this world, and they will slowly change you so that you are ready to go home with them when they come.  You have everything to gain and nothing to lose.

We all are sinners.  No one is perfect.  Not a one of us is worthy to dwell in the World Made New with Jesus, our heavenly Father and the angels.  We are saved by “grace”.  According to Webster’s New World College Dictionary, Fourth Edition the definition for “grace” is: goodwill, favor, mercy, clemency.   Jesus did you and me a favor in taking our place on the cross.  We should have died for our own sins.

May I give you an example of how wonderful “grace” is?

Suppose you murdered someone, and you have been sentenced to death.  One day after being in prison several months, you are called into the warden’s office.  The warden tells you that you are being set free. He informs you that someone just came in and offered to die in your place, and you can leave and go home and be with your family.

That, my friend, is what Jesus did for everyone on this earth.  We all deserve to die for our sins. “ For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23   In the example above, you deserved to die because you murdered someone.  But, Jesus could not bear being separated from you for all eternity.  So, he willingly opened a way for you to be with Him for evermore.  He took your place on the cross and took your sins upon himself and died so that you can have eternal life, if you wish to have it.

But, because Jesus is not a God of force, He will never compel anyone to be with Him forevermore.  You and I have to let Him know that we want to be with Him, and ask Him to forgive our sins and invite Him into our lives.  We have to, daily, choose to walk with Him.  Our sweet Lord is right this minute knocking on the door of your heart, friend.  Will you open the door and let Him in?  I did at the age of 32.  I can honestly say that opening the door of my heart to Jesus was the wisest thing that I have ever done. Once you have tasted the honey, so-to-speak, you will never want to let go.  Every day you will fall more in love with Jesus.

There is a great, little book entitled “Steps To Christ” by E. G. White that you may want to read.  I have read it several times.  Just click on “Steps To Christ” here
