Our only hope is staying with Jesus. “Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.” Acts 4:12 Why would anyone not want more than this life? Why would anyone choose this “son of perdition” rather than being with Jesus? Can this “man of sin” give us more than what Jesus can give us? He is a sinful man. He is no better than you or me. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” Romans 3:23
Friend, Jesus loves you. He regards you as His special child. Our Lord warns us through the writings of the apostle Paul to stay away from this “man of sin”. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, daily. Pray much that the Lord keep you from all the error that is taking place in these last days.
“That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God. Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders” II Thessalonians 2:2-9
The “Dark Ages” was a time of such woe and misery. The Catholic Church is striving to bring the world back under their control, and eventually back to what it was like during the “Dark Ages”. Who wants to belong to an organization that wants the inhabitants of this world to go along with their traditions, commandments, rituals and false teachings rather than the word of God? I want to follow the truth of God’s word. Don’t you? Jesus is the truth. “…I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6
During the “Dark Ages”, people were persecuted terribly if they didn’t pay homage to the Pope and the Catholic Church. “Force” seems to be the name of the game with the Catholic Church. Did Jesus “force” people to follow Him? “And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.” Revelation 22:17 We each have the freedom to be in the Kingdom of God or not. No one will be “forced” to be with Jesus forever. “Force” is of Satan.
Can you see the majority are looking to the Pope to solve the problems of the world? Do you think it is wise to put our faith in a mere man instead of putting our faith in Jesus Christ? This “man of sin” comes across to us as Mr. Nice Guy, and the whole world believes that he is Mr. Nice Guy. He is working to get the trust and love of the people because he wants all to come under the Catholic Church, including the U.S.A.. If you remember, the “Dark Ages” was the time the Catholic Church was in control. And, history points out that the Pilgrims came to this country for religious freedom. They were tired of being controlled by the Catholic Church and its false teachings. They wanted to follow the word of God; so, they came to the U.S.A..
Oh, I wish everyone would take the time to read the Bible; if they only had a yearning to have more than this life. Their unbelief is going to keep them out of the World Made New. They can have so much more than this life; but, they do not suppose they can. Trust and belief in the Lord comes from reading His word. Your faith, love and devotion towards God, friend, will increase more and more if you take about 30 minutes each day and read the Bible. Reading the Bible helps all of us to see what really is happening in this world. The Pope is nothing like the sweet Jesus.
This “man of sin” may not be in the World Made New because He seems to want everyone to focus on Him instead of Jesus. He is working to take the place of Christ on this earth. “I and my Father are one. Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him. Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me? The Jews answered him, saying, For a good work we stone thee not; but for blasphemy; and because that thou, being a man, makest thyself God.” John 10:30-33 Jesus was not committing blasphemy because He is God. But, the Jews did not believe that He was God; rather, they believed him to be just a man. So, because they believed Him to be a man, they felt He was committing blasphemy because He called himself the Son of God. Jesus and our heavenly Father are one and in the same. The Pope has no business walking around claiming to be the Holy Father. He is not!
Men’s hearts are going to fail them because of all the horrific events that are going to take place on this planet. Satan will have the minds of those that have not accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior. We cannot even image how evil it is going to get. Only those that are deep in Jesus will be able to handle the unpleasant events that are going to take place on this earth. We can see when the devil has control of the people’s minds; they do all kinds of terrible things to others. We can see the two classes of people, today. There is a considerable variation between those whose minds are controlled by the Holy Spirit and those whose minds are controlled by the spirit of the devil. Every day we read or see the shocking things taking place on this earth. The devil is becoming stronger. He is manipulating more and more people. Finally, it is going to get down to just a few that want to follow the word of God and keep His Commandments.
We cannot trust this “man of sin”? Jesus is the One that we look to for salvation. No man can take the place of our lovely Jesus.
This “son of perdition” is the Anti-Christ because he wants us to get behind him and an organization that wants us to pursue their traditions, commandments, rituals and rules. “…Why do ye also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition? …Thus have ye made the commandment of God of none effect by your tradition. But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men” Matthew 15:3, 6, 9 If the Pope truly loved the Lord, He would never want anyone to pay him homage in any way. He would be a humble servant like Jesus was when He walked this earth. He would be uplifting the word of God and pointing people to our Savior–not to himself.
This “man of sin” claims to be the Holy Father. Our Holy Father is in heaven. The Pope is not our Holy Father. “And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.” Matthew 23:9 Look where he lives. Jesus was born in a stinking stable. He did not have a job. He had just one suit of clothing. He had no home of his own. He came to be our servant. All day long He served the people in their homes, in their villages, met with them on a mountainside or talked with them as He walked along dusty roads from one village to the next.
The Vatican with all its gold, rich tapestry and fabulous art works is where the Pope lives. That Vatican was built by the poor. If you take the time to read the four Gospels, you will find that Jesus was a very humble person. He led a life of self-sacrifice and self-denial. He did not live in a fabulous building.
The following video makes those of us that want to stick with Jesus very upset. People are looking to this deceitful shepherd for help. They believe this “man of sin” is going to put an end to the problems of the world. Thank you Jesus that your coming is so soon. Soon this world will be behind us.
