The ABC’s Of The Gospel

All have sinned—“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.”  Romans 3:23

The wages of sin—“For the wages of sin is death…”  Romans 6:23

Behold the Lamb of God—”The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world.”  John 1:29

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”  John 3:16

He died for us—“But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”  Romans 5:8

Salvation is a gift—“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: It is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.”  Ephesians 2:8, 9

Come to me—“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.  Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.  For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”  Matthew 11:28-30

“Behold I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.”  Revelation 3:20

Accept Jesus’ invitation.  Come and accept Him by faith.

Does this make sense to you, friend?  Would you like to accept Jesus’ invitation and come to Him to receive the free gift of eternal life?

Is there anything keeping you from accepting Jesus as your personal Savior right now, today?  He is so loving and kind.  His promises are for us, friend.  It is so simple, really.  Go to Him in prayer and talk to Him regarding all your sins and then ask Him to forgive you of all your sins and He will.   “The Lord is not slack concerning his promises, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.”  II Peter 3:9

“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”  I John 1:9

Put Jesus first in your life, friend.  You will never regret that you did.  Nothing in this world can compare to the blessings that come from our loving Jesus.  Nothing in this world and no one person can bring you the joy that comes from following Him.  Put nothing of this world or no one person before Him.  Seek Jesus, daily, through Bible study and prayer.

Friend, take the time to bow your head right now and pray the following prayer to Jesus.

“Dear Jesus, I have sinned and I am sorry for my sins.  I am looking to You who died for my sins to give me forgiveness and the gift of eternal life.  I am coming to You, Jesus.  I commit my life to You and accept You as my personal Lord and Savior.  Thank you, Jesus, for your gift of salvation.”

Now that you have accepted Jesus as your personal Savior the following verses will give you the assurance you need to have that you will be with Him forever more.  Hooray!  Welcome to the family of God!

“And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.  He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.  These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.”  I John 5:11-13
