“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:1-3, 14
“For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.” Psalm 96:5
When this world was created by our Lord, it was breathtaking. There was not a flaw to be found. It was perfect just like He is perfect and filled with love because He is so loving.
Oh, how much Adam and Eve must have enjoyed walking with Jesus in the cool of the evening. He probably took such pleasure in showing them the incredible things He had made for them to enjoy.
Sin has ruined this world. Soon Jesus is going to created a New Heaven and a New Earth where there will be no more sin. The New World will always be clean, fresh and picture perfect for us. Hard to believe, isn’t it?
“To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One. Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.” Isaiah 40:25, 26
“For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.” Isaiah 45:18
“Know ye that the LORD he is God: it is he that hath made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.” Psalm 100:3
“O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.” Psalm 95:6
“Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.” Revelation 4:11
You and I can be in that New World. It will be Eden restored, and most likely it will be even more beautiful than when our Lord first created the garden. Dear reader, ask Jesus to help you to be ready to walk with Him in the new Garden of Eden. He loves you and wants you with Him. It will bring us joy to see our family members and friends there, as well.
