The Truth Is In Jesus!

Our Lord is so gentle, caring and considerate.  Every thought, every word, every look and every step that He took while on this earth was always done with you and me in mind, friend.   No one has ever loved us more. There has never been a human being on this earth that has had more sympathy, softness and mercy towards the human race like Jesus did when he walked among us.

It was His aim, and still is today, to bring us closer to Him so that He can wrap His arms of love around us and make us upright in every thought, every word, every look and in every step that we take. You see, when you love people like Jesus loves us, you want to do so right by them, and you will take such delight in helping them to live their lives to the fullest. You can’t help being that way because you are so full of love for people, and you want nothing but the best for them.

Jesus reaches down to us every minute of the day, and if we reach up to Him, He will grab our hand and pull us up and out of the muck and mire that we are in.  It is so wonderful, really. If we choose to surrender our lives to Him, He takes a delight in making us a better person, day by day. He loves the sinner, which we all are, but He hates the sin, and if we allow Him to, He will reach down and pull us up and out of the muck and mire of our sinful nature.  He hates to see us suffer.  We all are suffering because of sin. Sometimes we cannot see our need of change, but He sees it.  We serve such an amazing, precious Savior.

The love that He has for us is beyond our understanding.  We read about it in the Bible; but, for us to perfectly comprehend the kind of Love that He has for all of us is something that we just cannot seem to wrap our minds around. It far surpasses any love that we have within us, and, therefore, it just boggles our minds.  We can see how that love works in the way that he allows this world to continue on and in the way that He puts up with us.  We would like to have Him come right now and put an end to this misery.  But, He does not think in the way that we think.  He is not only waiting for us to get our act together so that we are ready to meet Him in the clouds of glory, but, He is patiently waiting for more to get their act together so they can enjoy walking and talking with Him, forever.

Jesus-on-mountain

We need to learn, you and me, to love like Jesus loves.  It is not one bit easy for us to love those in this world that are doing such evil to their fellowmen.   We consider them our enemies, don’t we?   We think of those kinds of people being against us and not for us.  How can you love someone that wants to chop your head off?  I am sure it grieves Jesus exceedingly to see all the wickedness that is taking place in this world.  People are allowing Satan to have control of their minds, and they just cannot think straight.  Satan is so ruthless.  How can people take a delight in being so brutal to their fellowmen; but, it sure seems they do?  We all love children!  It breaks our hearts to see the children suffer.

“So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him.”  I John 4:16  Notice the word “us” in this Bible verse. That means that Jesus loves every person on this planet.  He loves even those that are under the rule of Satan and doing such malice in this world.  He loves the “goodie-two-shoes”, and He loves all those that do not want to be a “goodie-two-shoes”.

We have to realize they are blind and cannot see their need of change.  We can see their need to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ; but they cannot.  Satan has so conditioned their minds over the years that all they can think of is doing wrong in so many ways.  They are sinners, just like you and I are sinners.  They need Jesus, just like you and I need Jesus.  They do not know that true happiness comes in walking with Jesus, daily.

So, you and I have to look past their rotten behavior and realize that these wicked people that are doing all kinds of rot in this world were, also, created by Jesus Christ. We must love them.  He  loves them!  Believe me; it takes much prayer to love those that want to get rid of everyone that is not like them in this world.  Jesus is the only one that can give us the ability to love them.  But, love them, we must.  Otherwise, we will not be in the kingdom of God.  “And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses. But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.”  Mark 11:25,26

“But I say to you, Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you…”  Matthew 5:44

“And he said to him, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”  Matthew 32:37-39

Now, I want to move onto something else.  I think it is important that we keep focused on Jesus Christ and His word.  We must, otherwise, Satan will have control of our minds. “Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” John 14:6  The truth is found only in Jesus Christ.

i-am-the-way

God has His people in all churches.  He loves them all very much.  And, believe it or not, there are Muslims that love the Lord, and there are Buddists that love the Lord, and there are others that love the Lord, as well.  And there will be a day when He will call everyone that wants to be with Him in the World Made New into His fold, and that will take place before He comes to take us home.  “And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.”  John 10:16

“…for the Lord seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the Lordlooketh on the heart.”  I Samuel 16:7

Those sheep that Jesus calls to be in His fold will be just like Him, and they will want to do those things that please our heavenly Father just like Jesus did.  They will be walking in the footsteps of Jesus.  “He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.”  I John 2:6  And, what did Jesus do?

“If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love.”  John 15:10

“He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.”  John 14:21

“By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.  For this is the love of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.”  I John 5:2, 3

There is a church that has been around for centuries.   It claims to be a Christian Church.  And, like I said, God has His people in all churches.  But, I am reading a book on the internet entitled 50 Years In The Church Of Rome, by Charles Chiniquy.  Mr. Chiniquy spent years in the Catholic Church.  It is a pretty thick book.

What I am reading in his book makes me weep.  I cannot believe that there is a religious organization in this world that actually wants people to follow them instead of the Bible.  If the leaders of the Catholic Church love their fellowmen as they should, they will want those that are members of their church to know the truth of the Bible and follow it.

Friend, read the Bible, daily.  How can you tell truth from error, if you do not?  You must read the Bible to protect yourself from error.

I want to share this website with you:

May you and your loved ones come closer and closer to Jesus.  He loves you, needs you and wants you.
